In May I completed my first 5K race in Frankfort. When I started it I was not sure how well I would do. With being in school over this last year exercise has not be on the front burner for me. So when the race started I put my music on and started walking. I looked up and I saw Jenny in front of me so I decided I better run. You all know that I am super competitive. So through out the rest of the race I walked and then ran when I felt like I could. I completed the race in about 53 min. My mom, sister, grandmother and Aunt. Everyone had fun but I can say that my competitive spirit won out on this one. I was the first one to cross the finish line. This week I will be doing my second 5K this one will also be in Frankfort.
